Mystical, Inc. aka What Happens When Your Sound Guy Flakes, And You Have to Do Everything on Your Own for the First Time!

“Yeah it was bad, where the #$%^ were you?”

The film Mystical, Inc was written by, directed by, filmed by, and edited by me, for the Four Points Film Project 2016. This was not my choice but I did want to make something with my own imprint, and my sound guy, a person with legitimate Hollywood sound credits flaked on me and decided a day in the park would be better for him than a day filming with the cast that I had assembled, I’d say cast and crew but I was the crew, save for an out of shot actor clapping the board.

The result, shot at the time on an iPhone 6S, I believe turned out fine shot wise but the sound, captured with an add on Shure mic that attached to the iPhone, was not fixable. Adding insult to injury, was the person who did the score, being the sound flake, telling me the sound was bad. “Yeah it was bad, where the #$%^ were you?”

So here it is my directorial, sound, editing, cinematographic, casting, but not writing debut.
